it was never made official, it's just a fandom belief. but i do agree that they are pretty similar (except Joker didn't use lightning)

Babbo stated that Nanashi was from another world. When Galian found Nanashi he had a severe stomach wound just like Joker did when he got sucked up by his own black hole.

well Babbo said Ginta had a smell from another world chapter 4 and then chapter 34 that babbo tells ginta that nanashi has the same scent as ginta. Then on chapter and then chapter 107 said nanashi had very bad wounds. he had no memory. he didn't know where he was, he didn't know what an ARM was.

He is an amazing writer. Have you ever watched the anime for them? I started watching Flame of Recca online and I'm almost done with MAR. They are good

i own all of FoR on dvd and vol 1 and 3 of MAR. i haven't been able to find the rest sadly.

Kenta: The man is a GOD!! Both of the series I've read him do are AWESOME! Flame of Recca I just finished today, (yeah, I couldn't find the books quickly enough) and I've already read MAR, which actually is what made me want to check out FoR!
