Not far away a cabin by itself sat dark in the night. A small orange and white half wolf half-husky pup was wide-awake, scared and scrunched in the corner of a very dirty cage.

She’d been there for weeks as she watched her half-wolf brothers and sisters get taken away one by one. She didn’t know what was going on. A loud voice broke the silence.

“Nikki, Nikki!” called a gray and white kitten.

“Meeko what is it?” asked Nikki.

Deep in Alaska, far from any people, a wolf pack just returned from the hunt with a caribou. The leader kept the wolves away, but one of the wolves, a brown one, tried to take a bite. The leader snarled and snapped at its muzzle as it cowered low to the ground.

“Owooo!” Sierra howls, calling the pups.

Sierra is the leader of the pack, almost completely white with a few gray markings. When the pups came running, the other pack members waited for the pups to start eating before them.

“Kako, where’s Aura?” Sierra asked.

I am a huge fan of scary stuff, especially ghost stuff. I am a firm believer in ghosts and I have many stories of encounters with ghosts.

Of all the ghost stories, the one about the ghostly black dog is my favorite. The Black Dog goes by many names, Grim, Hellhound, Shuck, Black Shuck, Barghest, and Spectral dog just to name a few. But the best way to describe it is simply "black dog." No matter what you call it, its appearance can mean many things, like death or a warning.

I want to get one thing straight; I am not one of those people that believes EVERY black dog seen is this dog. I do not fear the other black dog, the sweet family pet like a black lab. But I do believe in this ghost dog.

and actually, the legend of The Black Dog of Hanging Hills says that if you see the dog once, it brings good luck, see it a second time something bad will happen. See it a third time and you die.

yeah ^^ my favorite book out of the three i have is the black dog of hanging hills =) its not super long though its about 10 or 12 pages long maybe... but i love it anyway :heart:

one of them was the black dog of bungay =) but I forgot what the last ones name was... i looked all over my room but i cant find it XP if I find it i'll let you know ;)

I just read that exact book a half hour ago cause I was B-O-R-E-D. I liked it a lot, until it came to the ending, which was CHEESEY. x_x
